mein Vater

Too cool for his helmet.

His new helicopter.

His old helicopter.

SC Sand

I  know, I know!
So many posts, but this cold has gotten the best of me. I even got called out for missing training on Mittwoch: www.scsand-frauen.de

We are traveling to München (Munich) tomorrow. We will stay the night and play on Sonnstag at 10:45AM (!?)

I'm not sure how long it will take with a bus, but "Bing Maps" says, 3 hr 8 min. So, probably 6 hours ;)

In other news, my team is doing really well! A few weeks ago we were 7 points behind SV Weinberg, but as of last Sonntag, we are only 1 point away! I thought it was impossible for us to come back and even if we did the goal differential was so large. Not anymore!
The moral of the story is... never give up!

post from the Velké Pavlovice, Czech Republic

Before our game on Sonntag Jungmann gave me this envelope:
I thought really hard about who would be sending me mail... (hey, siblings of mine, this is your cue to send me something! danke)

Fan mail was the last thing I was expecting!

Of course I will send an autographed photograph after I recieve 1000€.
Only kidding, 975€ is sufficient;)

,,Was hat sie gesagt?"

 "What did she say?"

Last week was "spring break" (aka no school). Normal people look forward to a break, but not me... I'm slightly ADD; I have to be doing something all the time. So, a week of no school really frightened me, BUT I was invited to a Hort. It's a place for kinder to go before and after school. The Kindergarten is for infants-5yrs and the Hort is for kids ~6-11yrs.
The kids were told to talk slowly with me. Langsam, bitte! (Slowly, please!) I could understand a lot of what they were telling me, but talking to them was a little more difficult.
I thought it would be cool to teach them kickball. As I explained the instructions they looked at me like I had 23 heads. It was really frustrating, but I was forced to practice and that was really good practice for me! Eventually we gave up on kickball and continued to play fußball.
Apparently the kids didn't mind my 23 heads because I got these:

Frühling

 SPRING is here!

It's hard to believe it is 19.4.12.
Time flies.

I've experienced fall,

winter, and now spring in Deutschland, France and Austria.

Looking forward to a European summer!
