post from the Velké Pavlovice, Czech Republic

Before our game on Sonntag Jungmann gave me this envelope:
I thought really hard about who would be sending me mail... (hey, siblings of mine, this is your cue to send me something! danke)

Fan mail was the last thing I was expecting!

Of course I will send an autographed photograph after I recieve 1000€.
Only kidding, 975€ is sufficient;)

,,Was hat sie gesagt?"

 "What did she say?"

Last week was "spring break" (aka no school). Normal people look forward to a break, but not me... I'm slightly ADD; I have to be doing something all the time. So, a week of no school really frightened me, BUT I was invited to a Hort. It's a place for kinder to go before and after school. The Kindergarten is for infants-5yrs and the Hort is for kids ~6-11yrs.
The kids were told to talk slowly with me. Langsam, bitte! (Slowly, please!) I could understand a lot of what they were telling me, but talking to them was a little more difficult.
I thought it would be cool to teach them kickball. As I explained the instructions they looked at me like I had 23 heads. It was really frustrating, but I was forced to practice and that was really good practice for me! Eventually we gave up on kickball and continued to play fußball.
Apparently the kids didn't mind my 23 heads because I got these:

Frühling

 SPRING is here!

It's hard to believe it is 19.4.12.
Time flies.

I've experienced fall,

winter, and now spring in Deutschland, France and Austria.

Looking forward to a European summer!

Ich möchte mein Fahrrad fahren

auf English: "I like to ride my bicycle"

Mein neues Fahrrad!!!!

It works just fine, in fact it's the best bike i've ever had, but sometimes when i'm feeling lazy I will take the train...

nose job

Hannah is tearing it up on the pitch (soccer field), Gabi is winning awards, and Matthew is... having cosmetic surgery to keep his beautiful face beautiful.

Just kidding, the poor kid just had his deviated septum corrected.
Hope you can breathe now, Matt!
(this picture is fair game since you posted it on the internet already)

best of show

Gabi's giraffe won "Best of Show"
You rock, GABI!

"Are those your legs?"

My mom is so cool. She sent me an email entitled: "Are those your legs?"
I was a little bit nervous to open it, but was pleasantly surprised to see this picture of Hannah, my superstar sister, with some incredibly muscular legs.
She is the #19 who is making the other #19 look like a fool.

I am still proud to be a Liberty Lancer, Class of 2005!
(yes, Stacie a Lancer is real! and wiki is totally reliable)
Hannah is now a Cheyenne Mountain Indian and on Tuesday night (13.3.2012) she played on my home field, District 20 stadium (it was grass when I played back in the day).
I'm so proud of her, Varisty Soccer as a freshman, BIG DEAL!
Cheyenne won 2-0, which is ok because I love Hannah more than I love my Alma Mater.
